DESCRIPTION:Matthew’s Treasury: Things New and Old (Mt 13:52)\nOn the 1st Sunday of Advent 2022, all Christians who use a three-year lectionary for Sundays and Solemnities will begin a year that features the Gospel of Matthew.  This talk will consider three issues that pertain to Matthew.  It will discuss the distinctive features of Matthew’s gospel; consider what is and is not presented from Matthew in the Sunday Lectionary; examine Matthew’s presentation of the Pharisees who appear most often in this gospel.\nThis program will be presented via Zoom only.
